Goals:
The main goal of learning Brazilian Portuguese is to develop plurilingual and intercultural competences.
The lessons provide basic communicative skills and elementary language abilities useful for understanding simple messages and communicating in the most common everyday situations. They also introduce essential vocabulary for initial communication activities, while highlighting some linguistic varieties of Portuguese, specifically the Brazilian Portuguese.
Objectives will be adjusted according to each learner’s level and goals.
CRIS PILOTO – MINI BIO:
Teacher of Brazilian Portuguese for foreigners, with a practical and intercultural communicative approach.
Teaching experience for foreigners at the Università del Tempo Libero in Mestre (VE) since 2023 and online private lessons since 2020.
Background in Corporate Communication, with professional experience in the LATAM market, including marketing and communication consulting, proofreading in Portuguese, and writing corporate and product press releases.
She also worked for 15 years as a Corporate Communication Specialist at Telecine – Globo Group, strengthening her expertise in Brazilian Portuguese in professional and media contexts.
