Send me MAIL ART to:
Cris Piloto
– CP 18 – CAP: 30173 – CAMPALTO – VENEZIA – ITALIA
💌 My best passion is collecting illustrated mail art, but I love all the mail art I receive. I see it as a gift, and I adore the surprise when it comes.
You can send me your own artistic expression, A5 size, any technique. Feel free to include all creativity you wish.

Quick remind about Mail Art:
– This is a free artistic movement: spontaneous, democratic, inclusive, social = open to everybody. One of the first subversive underground communication without borders.
– It’s about a creative energy exchange = an Ethernal Network.
– Non commercial value (money only complicates the whole thing).
– Pass it forward = if you send, you’ll receive. It’s not about accumulating, it’s about circulating energy. That’s the real exchange.
– All different artistic techniques are welcome. By participating you accept the usual rules of mail art: no jury, no fee, no return.
– Be kind and thanked for the Mail Art you receive.
– Document: I personally take it very seriously!
– Mail Art focusses on a special theme and everything is possible.
– Lots of fun: when you create, meet artists and receive! Just fun!

Mail Art

= sometimes the beginning of getting to know each other and friendship

= a lot of fun creating, participating and receiving | just fun!

The topics address general questions of life, articulate critical awareness in dealing with nature as well as basic human rights. The motto no fee, no jury, no return does not allow for any restrictions in content and forms of expression. With Mail Art, one of the first subversive underground communication and information systems developed on the basis of the postal system, as well as international networks before the Internet, which enabled the free exchange of ideas and art worldwide.” Barbara Ihme

own projects, internationally advertised

MAIL ARTIST:

I am always looking foward in sending some arts which contais a bit about my cultural roots in Brasil. José Saramago, portuguese writer, said: “Being an immigrant is not leaving the land, it is taking the land with you.” With this thought, I can say I am an enthusiast of the brazilian culture and I promote it on my Mail Arts.
